OMG!! The breathiness, the vocal fry onsets, the cries, and those 3 note runs I was hearing it all! I can't believe how good she sounds after not a very long time at all. The thing I love most about this is that you guys clearly found Candace's authentic voice... When singing, she sounds like herself rather than sounding like she's imitating the original artist or trying to emulate any other singer. I also love how much her confidence had grown. We kind of think actors and actresses are naturally confident when it comes to exposing their vulnerabilities because they have trained themselves to be strong in the face of judgement and criticism, but there's something so raw and delicate about this whole process that proves we are all simply human beings, trying to be better at whatever, each and every day of our lives. Candace has a beautiful voice and Tara is a beautiful soul who has helped so many people, myself included, to grow vocally and spiritually. Much love to you both!!! I can see potential for even more from Candace's already stunning voice... There is more nuance and flexibility just waiting to emerge. Can't wait to see where you guys journey together!!! 💘🎉

I cried when I heard this. First because the songwriter knew the words in my soul and second Candace sang those words as my heart would have sang it. Here is the kicker. I am almost 73 y/o and I need God to restore my soul and create a new heart in me that I can live the rest of my days in the joy of the Lord. I am so so proud of Candance!! It inspired me to keep going and I teared up 😢 She is such an amazing beautiful soul, i hope she keeps singing or thinks about releasing her own music, or takes another lesson with you.
