Dementia robs me of my life caring for my husband

Yes, things change drastically. I had to find a doctor who specializes and understands Alzheimer's and dementia. She always asks how I'm doing and observes me engaging with my husband. I am being proactive and she knows this. I don't want to have a negative vocabulary. If I feel disappointed and stressed out, I walk away and play braingamese on my phone, watch a kdrama or go for a light jog. I just want to chill for a few minutes. Then start all over like nothing happened and try a different approach. 🎉

I have mild Dementia and wouldn't think of my kids being my caregiver
when I get worse. I have no problem going to a home, just pray I have someone check that I'm not being neglected like bed sores and bathing.

Very Much So, I Was just trying to Explain some things About being a Spouse who is the Caregiver of My Husband with Alzheimer's to his Doctor and She just looks at me like I'm trying to make things about myself. It Hurts and it Makes it 10x more difficult to Care for my Husband when his PCP doesn't understand anything about it's Seems Dementia and Especially not A Spouse Caregiver
