He only played here for three years, but he was one of the most beloved Ravens that's ever taken the field for us. The greatest day of my life will always be Super Bowl XLVII, and believe me, we would never have won that Super Bowl without him. As painful as it is for me to admit this, Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff messing up against New England in 2011 was the best thing that could have happened to that team. Why? Because they were replaced by Justin Tucker and Jacoby Jones. And both of them rose to the moment that year. Some of my favorite memories of my Ravens childhood came from Jacoby. The two TDs he scored in the Super Bowl are icing on the cake. I think of him going 105 yards against the Raiders to break the record for most points scored by the Ravens in a single game. I think of his kick return for a TD against the Vikings in a snowstorm. Every time he took the field, he was a major threat to take it to the house. Now I see why Mike Tomlin stepped in his way on Thanksgiving in 2013. He knew how dangerous Jacoby Jones was as a returner, and the only way he could stop him was if he made him redirect himself. Luckily we still won that game. Not to mention he absolutely dominated on Dancing With The Stars in the offseason after the Super Bowl. He in my opinion put on a better performance than Hines Ward ever did the previous year. Not to mention he trolled Browns fans at the 2021 NFL Draft by telling them that they can boo him all they want but he has a ring and they don't. (I really hope Ben Cleveland becomes a stud this year because that's the guy we picked when Jacoby trolled them) It's been 12 years since we won our Super Bowl, just like it was 12 years between our first two championships. And Jacoby wore #12. We dedicated our first championship to the family of Jermaine Lewis after his son died late in the 2000 season (His kick return against the Giants gives me the chills), we dedicated our second championship to Art Modell who brought NFL Football and the Lombardi Trophy back to Baltimore, and hopefully we will go on another magical run culminating with a third Super Bowl title which means we will dedicate that championship to Jacoby Jones, the man who was responsible for the greatest play in Ravens History, and one of the most beloved players that's ever worn a Ravens uniform. Not to mention the Super Bowl this year will be held in New Orleans, Jacoby's hometown, and the site of our most recent championship. THERE'S NO BETTER TIME TO REDEEM OURSELVES AND CAPTURE ANOTHER LOMBARDI TROPHY!

Met him at Raven's Roost event in 2022 in Ocean City and he sat and talked to me for a long time. No one else realized he was in the building for a while. It was very special and something I will always remember. He autographed a picture and a Super Bowl trading card I had. Special, fun loving man. Always a Raven forever 😢❤🖤💜🖤💜🏈
