Students for Fair Admissions praise Supreme Court affirmative action ruling

The group Students for Fair Admissions is praising the US Supreme Court after it struck down affirmative action in college admissions. The group sued Harvard and the University of North Carolina in 2014 over their admissions policies.

As an immigrant living in America and originally from South East Asia, I can confidently say Asian Americans got played. Like they say, maybe academic scores are not everything and does not reflect on a person/groups' ability to effectively make long term judgments for overall benefit of the society. Well done playing right into the divide and conquer approach.

The Asians should practice equality in business also, hire other Americans that dont look like you. And we need more Asians in the military and the police force also. America isnt just about high test scores and Ivey League schools.

Except these people forgot the fact that the number of Asians admitted to Harvard over the last 5 years has been almost double that of African Americans. But somehow that equates to discrimination, when the fact that there are ANY Asians at Harvard is a part of Affirmitive Action to begin with and merit never had anything to do with it. Because there were few Asians at Harvard before the Civil Rights Act which black people had to fight and die for, but somehow all of that doesn't count. Not to mention the conscious decision of all these universities to allow more Asians in was not due to merit but to ending discrimination, that Asians never actually fought for. Amazing how hypocrisy and historical revisionism works. If it was based on merit then a civil rights movement wouldn't have been needed for them to be able to attend to begin with. Not to mention that civil rights was never about a degree from Harvard in the first place which is another insane and backwards idea. As if segregation and discrimination were due to not working hard to get a degree from a university or Harvard.

He blames black people for taking his spot and the reason he wasn’t accepted to Harvard. One of Harvard’s heavyweight rowing team took your spot 😂 He also overlooked the fact that white and asian students make up majority of ivy leagues, but conveniently blames black people for taking his spot. He should have blamed it on Harvard’s legacy preferences like athletes related to donors of staff members. So embarrassing he is Canadian and an Asian.
