Hot forging process simulation || AFDEX 2D || Two-stage

Показать описание
In this video, you will learn how to simulate a two-stage hot forging process using AFDEX, the intelligent metal forming simulation software.
This will be a 2D axisymmetric hot forging simulation where the temperature change during the forging process will be neglected. The material of the workpiece is a steel grade named AISI 1020 and its initial temperature is equal to 1200 degree Celsius.
Graphite Water is used as a lubricant in this forging process.
A constant velocity press will be used in this simulation. The upper die will move downward with a constant velocity of 200 mm per second and the lower die will remain stationary.
A glimpse of the post-processing options available in AFDEX will also be shown at the end of the video.
Enjoy the learning process. And to learn more about AFDEX and metal forming simulation technology in general, visit our homepage
