I'm not new to the watch game, but I sold off some of my more expensive watches and adopted the Apple Watch early on. It became such a distraction in my day-to-day life that I let the battery die on my last Apple Watch and returned to wearing wristwatches. My daily beater is a Timex Q reissue.

I own the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic 38mm. From all watches in my collection, it is the one that gets the most wrist time (="daily beater"). And I would never replace it with an Apple watch.

It was G-shock for me. I got one when I graduated high school and wore it for over a decade, put it in a drawer when smartwatches were new and exciting, and then eventually realized my G-shock had all the actually useful features without having to charge it every day or wake up the screen to see what time it is lol.
I also used to like swapping dials on my smartwatch but would get a little disappointed at how flat they all look on a screen, so now I like to swap between a bunch of affordable dress watches

Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

Smart watches are convenient when you're in work. Being in a medical field its very useful as I can answer calls when i'm doing procedures such as intubation or in the operating room. There's the right time for both!

Fantastic video as always, Max. I returned the Apple Watch Ultra after 4 days. It was more mentally subtracting than adding for me, was too big and looked like a toy, and had zero personality on wrist. I was thankful for that return policy

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

got a brew metric (the titanium build) recently. Easily best titanium build for the price (under $500) and the retro square dial look works with most outfits. Strap and size is more applicable to most folks who aren't looking for a 42mm behemoth and imo than the bulkier seiko GMT and the knockoff jubilee bracelet looks better in pictures than on the wrist (especially if you're a guy with a lot of arm hair like myself)
