So parappa is actually where melodi gets the freestyle mechanic as if you free style WELL, you get a higher score. Also the stars just indicate the beat

There are actually 3 games in the Parappa series, Parappa the Rapper, Um Jammer Lammy, and Parappa the Rapper 2. If you want to play through all of the games, I suggest doing them in that specific order, because Lammy appears in Parappa 2 and her inclusion can be kind of confusing without context of her spin-off. Plus, it's by far the craziest game in the series.

My actual drivers test went remarkably similar to the parappa drivers test segment too lol. Me and the lady spent the whole time yelling at each other and she kept randomly slamming on the brake on her side, she told me I’m a good driver but need an attitude adjustment. But luckily they don’t score based on attitude so I passed.

Something that might help you get better scores in parrapa and scratching melody is to free style but don’t miss any notes you are suppose to press and don’t press any notes that don’t normally get pressed in that line without free styling or it will act like to missed it

Love how the melody changes when you get the beat or buttons wrong, cus it doesn't sound Bad it's just different, dare I say "obscure" remix and it sounds just as good! You pick up on it a lot during the Driving License level

Fun fact: The intro supposed to have the word "frosty" in both PJ and Katy's "giant vanilla" and "large chocolate" part of the order respectively. However due to the "Frosty" being Wendy's trademark, they just removed the said words from both PJ and Katy's order.

a little tip for freestyling:
hold left on the d-pad to repeat the first phrase mapped to a button (i.e. "in the rain or in the snow" while holding left on dpad will become "in in in in in in in" since the entire sentence is mapped to just triangle)
