The song is full work of literature. It begins with a man begging his wife to stick by his side though he is broke. The wife who loves his ODM guy had to cross the boundary and work in rival office DP Ruto's, to educate their children. Though they both drink, the wife is cautious and doesn't waste money. She is loyal to his husband more than ODM party, but the husband ironically seems more loyal to the party than the wife. I doubt if he can ever work at DP's office to earn a living. His hypocrisy is displayed when he drinks money from the same office, he even asks the wife not to be so mean with buying him drinks yet works in a big man's office.

The second guy sandwiched between two women eats life with a big spoon. She spoils and buy people drinks, even strangers. She is in merry and enjoys it while it lasts.

Third Scene, an old man who's lived both lives of having money and being broke cautions another young man not to waste money. He regrets having lived an extravagant lifestyle. He's lost hope in the city, he wishes he could go back home but unfortunately he doesn't have a house there. There is no one who can shelter him since both parents had died.

LAST SCENE: The old man welcomes Wuod Nyaboro to entertain them with a different genre of music. This signifies CHANGE. As it goes The ODM guy who's wife works at arch rival's office, the 'rich' young man deluded by with his money in scene two, and the man who had lost hope in scene three all hit the dance floor and dance the night away. Music UNITES both the young and the old, the broke and the rich, married and singles, hearts filled with despair and the audacities of hope.

No music could ever bring people together same away if not Wuod Nyaboro's.
