On the former Cartoon Network Studios headquarters building, a new animation was projected with a heartfelt message about the industry right now while the Cartoon Network logo gets erased. As we speak, The Animation Guild is negotiating for a new contract and fighting for better rights for animation workers. Let's work together so we can see animation thrive in the future!

As a kid Cartoon Network meant everything to me and I really love the fact that the animators are standing to fight against the corporate heads by letting their voices be heard. David zaslav needs to be fired asap.

I’ve seen older people make the argument that animation serves zero purpose to society, and that anyone fighting for the right to do creative jobs should go out and get a real job instead of complaining.

Obviously I disagree, but something about that statement disturbs me…
