Got visa in 5 days! | German Student Visa Experience 2024

Things to Note:
1. Make sure all Xerox are printed in clear way, if not they will ask you to take Xerox again.
2. Taking premium is your choice.
3. Passport front and back is enough but they might ask other stamped papers (where they stamp for arrival and departure, if you have gone out of country) also to be printed.
4. You can pay visa fees via cash, card or UPI

Visa Timeline at Mumbai VFS

Appointment Date : 1st August 2024

Documents reached at German Consulate in Mumbai : 2nd August
Dispatch Mail : 7th August
Visa received : 8th August

University name - TU Dresden
Visa Validity- for 1 year (I had blocked account as per 11904€)

Hi Rashika, thanks for such a detail video it is very useful and legit information. Although you mentioned but i still want to ask you this again, I happen to have "kumar" in the middle name(i.e in my fathers name, and not in my first name) on my passport and in the rest of the documents which is in my IDs and certificate, I don't have kumar mentioned in any of them. Will submitting an affidavit in this case will help in my visa application? As then i'll have to change my name in my passport and that's an added work load.
Thanks for reading this and would be really glad and helpful for a revert from you. Also please note I have supporting documents of my father to show my name with and without kumar. Will those be of any help in my case?

As african residing in gujarat. Ive got all my documents with me but not sure of which vfs to use, i thought of delhi or kollkata at first;though there's also here in Ahmedabad.. will this be aproblem if however ended up using centre far from my residence. Ive seen from other youtube videos regarding this same process that it wont matter, could they be lying seeing your response to patel 😅? Pls say something
