Needs a movie. Still another decade of the imperial era remains untold for Obi Wan and also the decade they skipped over. The movie needs serious budget and stellar writing. No half assery. That is an insult to fans and also the cast and crew.

A story which should of been told in the first season would be the "hidden path" and the story's of the jedis who survived the purge and maybe how Obi wan aided them leading up to ANH.

A second season would be great, but the problem with the first was that they cut the budget and he’s one of the most important characters in the whole of Star Wars. There’s a great story there, and we can all imagine something that would be different from each others, but there is no point burning a few million on this because they want to fill a gap. They could create a story from Obi-wan’s life that leaves a legacy going forward, but they can’t see it. It could introduce a new character for the period where they re currently exploring with The Mandelorian, Boba Fett and Ahsoka. I’m just throwing a few things out there, but it could be a whole other thing that we haven’t considered yet. They never really had any story for Obi-wan be so prominent in the sequels with his voice being heard several times. They just left it hanging there and probably changed direction with Rey’s legacy because they needed something to try and retcon what happened in the Last Jedi. In doing so they caused issues with the whole trilogy, including the Rise of Skywalker, which could’ve been split into two movies, and allowed them the breathing space to tell a more meaningful story. So before they give the go-ahead they need to reassure Ewan that they will haver the proper budget this time. There’s easily more to tell with the character, because the idea he’s sitting in the desert meditating or sitting in his cave cracking one off every night is just a completely wasted opportunity to give more credence to his character in the empire era. I love the idea in my head that he caused a big setback for the empire in some way without them knowing that it was him.

Star Wars Diehard and 1st time viewer here from Minnesota.
I Realize This video was made months ago, I’m actually just seeing it. I sincerely hope that they do make a Season 2.
I think there is a Great Deal of Fill in History that would be beneficial, not to mention, there does Appear to be a great deal of Support and Interest for a Season 2 which includes the Actors/Cast as well. Personally, setting My Fan Devotion and Love for Star Wars aside, I just think it would be a win-win for Everyone on all sides.
