The 10-round main event — a WBC title eliminator — will see recent title challenger Robson "O Brabo" Conceicao attempt to turn back hard-charging Sacramento native Xavier Martinez at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

Martinez recently signed a multi-fight pact with Top Rank and will look to shine in his promotional debut. Conceicao-Martinez and a co-feature will air live on ESPN & ESPN Deportes (simulcast on ESPN+) at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+.

In high school I took up boxing to lose weight initially but then I fell in love with the sport. My Dad would drive me to St. Petersburg, Florida at a gym called 4th Street Boxing and Rod was in there EVERY DAY I would go (4-5 times a week) I watched him turn pro, saw him run through his first like 16 fights and remain humble through everything. I thought he'd rise to the top in NO TIME. Years later me and my dad watch him get robbed in the Travis Browne fight which further cemented my belief in him that if he was patient and kept workin, he'd have a belt in no time. I had heard about Beterbiev before this fight and thought "he aint never seen anybody like Rod." But dude, me and my dad watched in horror as he was beaten down and dismantled by Beterbiev. Artur is just too damn big and too damn skilled and it was a legit horror show watching this fight.

Filmed documented truth that there are indeed LEVELS to this shit. Im now fully confident that I made the right decision by not trying to go pro because the ceiling I would have hit would have been too much to bear lol God bless Rod and God bless Artur.

Beterbiev is sooo incredible good in middle and close reach. And at long reach he’s capable of fending anything of. It’s a real tank. He keeps prowling his prey. From the centre, from the outside. It doesn’t matter. All his punches count. And hurt. Don’t see any worthy opponent in LH-division who can go the distance with him yet. I think his reign will endure for quite some time to come.

I was very happy that the ref stopped the fight. Kalajdzic already proved that he is a warrior, so there was no point him to be crushed both mentally and physically. Him being saved allowed him to continue forward with his career and continue to win fights :)
