Out of sheer curiosity, Petrina flew to Stockholm with only $200. Despite being entirely broke, she decided to attempt hitchhiking all the way back to Kuala Lumpur. In this talk, she shares what it was like sleeping at petrol stations, digging through trash for food, escaping indecent drivers and depending on the kindness of strangers. I really love the story you shared, Petrina and I believe this kind of experience will dramatically change you in the life ahead of you. However I think it would be cool if you have focused more on your learning and the how you have changed from your trip. When you talk about all the hippy stuffs and how you almost get raped multiple times, I think the women audience are more “wtf is wrong with this young girl?” and more afraid to do it than ever. 😛
