Out of curiosity... It's a lot of time to break in ballerina shoes. As you're an independent do you have to buy your own? Is there a difference? Just curious because it seems like there should be other people breaking their shoes in at the same time that you're doing yours. Are they doing them somewhere else

Please. Please please please pick up a pair of little pliers for the nail. Even just some small jewelry pliers would work. When you dig them out with the scissors you are ruining your scissors, and it hurts my soul. The metal of the nail against the blade of the scissors causes dents into the cutting edge no matter how gentle you are about it. It also causes little pieces of metal of the blades to curl into one side or the other which can get caught on the other blade, which may cause the blade to lock open or closed
