The Canada-US border was closed at the start of the pandemic more than a year ago, but not for Quebecer Paul-Maurice Patenaude who has been operating a parcel handoff service from his house, which straddles the international boundary.

Business is still open. Facebook updates shortly after his death was them looking for a new owner, so it’s either there’s new ownership or the children are now managing the business.

He literally has to go into another country to get into his fridge and by the looks of it, depending on where the item is in his fridge, he will have to transport his dinner across the border.

There a bar there in Dundee called the Halfway House... been there many times, half in Ca and half is US.. back in the 80s you just needed a drivers license to cross
