GCSE DT NEA :- Research

In today's video we look at exploring the realm of research for your N.E.A project.
We look at a list of suggested avenues to peruse for your research section of your design folder.

Considerations for researching:
Do your research on sheets of A3 if you can, A4 if not.
Remember that your folder should be 20-30 pages.
Research is the first part and I would advise between 4 - 6 pages of research maximum.

Remember to identify the USER - What are their needs / wants / who are they and what do they do?

After identifying the USER - you could look at:
EXISTING PRODUCTS
Use the internet to locate existing products if not try to get hold of a product and take it apart! photograph each section and analyse it - what materials does it use? how does it fit together? etc...
