A PSA to everyone looking to buy one of these. This is the V2 of this car. The V1 only came with the AE86 body so be aware if that's the one you want. You can tell if it's the V1 if it has plastic driveshafts. I have the V1 and it's pretty bad. This new version has been upgraded significantly.

Hey Troy, love the channel! I've had the LDRC AE86 for about a month now and really like it. I upgraded the stock electronics with a DumboRC BL3FG that I had laying around, which was great because it allowed me to control the lights still and had a gyro already. Another plus was it was slightly smaller footprint then the stock circuit board, so I was able to stick it in the same spot.
I hope you do an update video after you have upgraded it. It's a fun little car for the price.

I've had mine for a few months, I didn't realize it had adjustable links!

I've been on disability for a while now and drifting this little thing around the living room is therapeutic.

Clears the bad thinking, distracts from the discomfort.

I just got the gyro for this car which needs some soldering to a JST and connect to a k969 brushed ESC receiver board I put into it after I the original ESC stopped working. I saw your video and got excited about soldering the JST now.

I just got what I suspect is the next version, LDRC 1899 which looks even better. I'm struggling getting it to drift properly but hopefully your video will help. Its probably settings or my skill which is newb 🙂
