The black strakes / flaps in front of the front wheels actually aid airflow and improves high(-er) speed stability and also fuel economy.

I would strongly advice to keep them on those having stock bumper and ride Hight. Speaking from experience as I forgot to mount them after changing plastic inserts in the wheel wells, the first drive I took I thought I had a flat tire or worse as it was wobbling and jittering at speed. Put the strakes back on and it was on point again.

I know many remove them for the looks, and if you don’t have an A-B comparison as I did in my experience you might not notice. Also, lowering and / or replacing the front bumper I think would change their effectiveness.

The tidiest phone holder option is the Modify one which has a bracket that connected behind the heater dials and looks smart. I just used a flat base magnet one and glued it to the dash and I converted the 12v socket into a 2x USB port with battery voltage readout. You will need an adapter harness to have your music controls working. Mine don't work but I don't use the car every day so it's fine. I'd like to see an underbody walkround video. These S2000s are no stranger to rust especially with all the cast iron wishbones! And make sure you remove the rubber flaps by the wheel arches and inspect that area and check those brake pipes especially where they go over the rear subframe. Boot floot is very thin and prone to rust so check there. You can buy all the boot trim clips on eBay for a few quid, I replaced all of mine. The engine bay crossmember always discolours to a rusty colour. Will sure to be an eye sore when you change the intake

I wouldn't change the rear lights, they look great. The car itself is a design joy wherever you look.

I know it’s big money but if you’re going to be going all out on this build look into a spoon hardtop, they look unreal

Keep the badge stock.... I've owned an Apex Blue pearl S2000 CR for 10 yrs and I still don't think the yellow interior flows with the blue lol. Congrats on the new acquisition and I look forward to upcoming content no matter which direction you go

Congrats with your S2000. After 12 years i still love my year 2002 S2K.
Please don't put yellow accents on the car, it will look cheap imo. But hey, it is your car. :)

I know everybody's going to hate me for this but whatever. car is beautiful the way it is. adding mods and customizing it that's all up to you man. but I'm sorry not a fan of yellow. I love the idea of the red hood emblem. but it's a beautiful car. no matter what you do to it

In before you hear "Nice Miata, what year is that?"
Jokes aside, congratulations on acquiring IMHO the greatest roadster ever made. I've been a car guy since the 90's, a JDM fanboy since I got my 1st Honda over 20 years ago and a auto mechanic for +15 years. I've driven hundreds, if not thousands of different cars on test drives over the years.
One customer with a 2002 EM1 stands out above all else. Over a 2 year period, I drove before n after about a half a dozen mods that our shop installed and personally put over 200 miles on that car. All on the same 9 mile country back road loop. The most fun I've ever had behind the wheel is in the S2000.

Lovely car, I own a 2007 Moonrock Grey S2000. I had to get a new front headlight the other week, I think it was shipped from Honda in Belgium, apparently they still make them for the rest of Europe but not UK, so maybe do some research into that. I would leave the standard badge or go yellow with the other yellow accents you're thinking of. Also, I'd recommend checking under the carpet in the boot, they're very prone to rust in the recessed area, mainly caused by leaks in the vent behind the number plate.

Yellow might look a bit banana man and red is the signature type r true, how about white or another shade of blue

Don't forget you'll have to account for the rear fog light with any rear bumper mods

Yellow badge or blue to prevent clashing of colour

kept wondering why you say pre-facelift. Then I realized only us Americans got more than a facelift.

isdk why that car is wanted so much it looks to small and delicate like any kind of accident will kill u also it doesn't look like a sports car. y not a actual sports car that's newer that has better tech and comfort.
