A few tips for y'all who burn out really fast, can't focus, etc:
1) Set goals that are achievable! Don't go into hours worth of homework with no plans. Say "I will do these two assignments, take a break, and do the rest later."
2) Minimize distractions: Put your phone in another room. Put on noise cancelling headphones. Move to another room to escape the sound of your dog barking.
3) Set timers: I do 10 minutes of working, 5 minute break, and cycle that for a few times, then take a 10-15 minute break to completely recharge.
4) Ask for help! Trust. Me. It will help you. It is not admitting defeat in any way.
5) Don't be hard on yourself- You are wonderful, smart, kind, caring, and all around exemplary- and you will pass your exams and turn in all those stubborn assignments!
