How was the U.S. able to make it through Prohibition? With the help of a little coke Coke! You read that right, Coca-Cola used to have cocaine in it. Dr. John Pemberton created the “temperance” drink to allegedly help with a whole host of health problems. The good news is, there wasn’t actually enough cocaine in the recipe to do any damage, just enough to make it ever so more addicting!
