Thank you for this video! I've been wanting to try out the switch axe, but I've been hesitant because I didn't know which skills to invest in. The info about quick work and crit element were especially useful!

Funny thing since you mentioned the Silver Rathalos Dual Blades: I happened to slay almost exactly the right number of Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos to get crit element armor and the Silver Rathalos blades to T10.5. Because of this, I was caught off guard when several people mentioned that they were a difficult thing to build. Though, in retrospect, I can see why: it will be a long time before I can build any other gold or silver weapons. XD

With regards to Quick Work, you didn’t take into account that quick work is for rapid switching between sword and axe BACK to BACK. Transforming once is not affected. You see the difference with rapid swapping. It was a playstyle in Rise/sunbreak. Tested it myself just now and it’s a def speed increase when you’re constantly hitting with morph attacks by rapid swapping.

I personally adore bubbly dance on switch axe, specifically sword mode. Similarly to lance, it makes a weapon(well, one mode of a weapon in this case) that usually feels slow and immobile feel like it can zoom around the map, and because of the speed of the little side steps, its really easy to keep permanently uptime on bubbly dance too

How about rajang swaxe? It's has -30% affinity, but when i test the swaxe still can do critical atk, i think the -30 affinity on swaxe doesn't do the effect? Cmiiw ty

Since it is the best time to be a swaxe main when almost every monster right now just love to charge and roll, what can you say about evade ext?. I'm having hard time to catch up and Im itching to add it in my build but I will lose a lot of damage but if I amp up damage and I cannot catch up I will still lose on dps. 😵‍💫
