Let’s be honest, most people bought because of the resale value. Once there were too many resellers to make a profit, and too many people with bots or backdoor connects, most people couldn’t make money on the items so they stopped buying. 90% of people didn’t care about the brand at all.

I am actually a skateboarder and not a hypebeast, I like supremes clothes and I actually wear them when I skate. Glad the hype has kinda died off to be honest.

The great thing about being poor is you never follow trends. Can't afford it.

Supreme is just as popular today as it was 10 years ago. It was the hypebeasts who made it into the juggernaut it was for a time and then, when they lost interest, it returned back to what it had been before: simply a well-liked brand for people who skate.

I have the Supreme measuring cup. It’s identical to a regular Pyrex measuring cup. I checked. They both do 2 cups of liquid spot on.
No one notices how cool I am when I cook, but that’s not the point, is it.

Supreme is still just as popular and things still sell out every week. Many hypebeasts just moved on to other brands which is a great thing.

I've been saying this and will continue to say this. Supreme successfully finessed gullible buyers buried under hype, and that success comfortably supported their sponsored skaters. And now that it's getting closer to its roots, I'm all for it.

Personally, I'm someone who found Supreme in middle school in 2016 when it was getting huge and have stuck with the brand ever since. I check back in every week to see their newest drops and still buy a lot of what they have to sell. Honestly I kinda enjoy the fact that brand is losing popularity as they really haven't changed their styles with fashion trends so I just get to buy excatly what I want when previously it was a lot more expensive or just impossible to buy from the brand.

Once uppn a time RocaWear, Seanjohn, Phatfarm, Ecko were extremely popular.

They are still selling to late-arriving resellers.

A wise man once told me... once you become aware of a thing, the market is already flooded.

It was a fun time. Exciting every Thursday morning putting a supreme item in the app's "cart" but then finding out when trying to process the payment that it was already sold out. I did cop a bunch of expensive supreme clothes back in the day, and enjoyed wearing them despite being middle aged.

Never cared for this brand, but I was somewhat interested in the Raiders sweater they released a handful of years ago

I seen a few kids today coming from supreme with a bunch of supreme shopping bags. Not everything sells out but kids are still buying supreme.

I mean, their entire brand is a square logo on generic looking clothes. Who could have seen this not staying trendy forever? 😅

It’s not valuable anymore because people started realizing it’s just shirts and pants with a logo status symbols die out just as trends do

My whole thing is quality. I was booked for 6 years when all this shit started to happen but I don't like how now they outsource some of there drops from China and one of the things I used to like supreme was the fact it was USA made and I don't like how they realized dad hats

Got to a point where people don't wear that stuff anymore just resell it, it used to be visible fashion. if people don't wear it as often then it loses appeal by default. hypebeast culture ruins everything it touches.
