Hi mark, I was asking about replacement battery cost on c11 recently, thanks for erring on the side of cation in your guesstimate .. It is now on their site ~ in their search bar type~ battery c11~ and you can see in the drop down menu ..£242.73 How long for if doesn't say. And I recon others may want to see this. Mark, our C11 was delivered yesterday, first impressions (for the money!) are great. I could not find out how to switch on the lights, thought we had a fault, your video was a great help! Double click the M button ...presto! cheers Jim

Hello. May I point out that this bike is illegal.
Why. It has a throttle .
It has a 500w motor. Max under law is 250watt . 500W motor and throttle bike is classified as moped that requires a driving licence .
FIIDO NEED TO OFFER EU and UK specification.

Your video needs to point this out. Fines by police are now heavy. Be warned

Thanks for this useful review Mark. I now have one of these on order. There seems to be confusion about the power of the motor and this is not explicitly stated on the Fiido website. The capacity of the battery is given in Watt.Hours at about 500 and some may mistake this for the motor power, to which it is not related at all. After I have checked the throttle device, which is not shown or described in the manual, I will certainly remove it if it doesn't meet regulations. My last e-bike had a Bafang motor which I managed to burn out so I hope this one will do better.

Hi Mark, Thank you for the review!
My question is if the power modes actually control the power of the assist or the max speed of the assist? So if I go in eco mode the assist is still there at 15mph it's just help less than in sport mode?
(I ask this because for example Eleglide bikes have an assist where the levels only controls the max speed, which means if I want to go with 15mph and have assist I need to use it in max level...)

Word of caution…mate of mine ordered one last week and heard nothing until this week about delivery being end of May..comms with FIIDO is erratic at best…worth reading their Trustpilot reviews before ordering.. my mate now wishes he had.

What about leaving this bike to rest outdoors for a few hours or whole workday? How many hours can it be left in direct sunlight? Can it withstand 30-degree heat? Should the battery be removed if it rains or it is left in sunlight?

Hi Mark, looks like a really nice bike for the money. The big problem of course will be getting it fixed if it goes wrong. No UK dealers although I believe they do have a distribution centre in Poland. Also under current regulations not legal to ride on public roads in the EU or the UK. The continuous motor power (500 watts) is twice the legal limit of 250watts without even considering the throttle issue. Sadly Chinese bikes do not have a good reputation for reliability ( especially batteries ) or customer service ( which is very often administered from China by email). Sadly, if you buy one of these machines, will you be able to get spares in a year or two ? One Chinese manufacturer Eliglide has just stopped selling their bikes in the UK, Caveat emptor !!

When you ride on it, that was strange sound come on like somethink rubbing.
That it was coming from e-motor or tyre rubbed the mudguard?

With a 500 watt rear motor - is this UK legal? I know it comes restricted with regards to speed but I thought UK law states max 250 watt rear motor. I am seriously interested in buying one of these but don't want to get into trouble with plod. Great review by the way.

Its got 500w motor?
So even if someone takes the throttle off and a bizzy copper looks at it in UK they can take it off you cos the legal limit motor is 250 ???
