Just refreshed my Youtube and found this 6 seconds after posting. Thanks for all the tropical updates DW, keep it up!

Question of the day: I think that both of the systems will develop, the east coast one probably a tropical storm/depression, and the Cape Verde one is too far out to tell for me.

I think the next wave after Rene will be a bigger issue than these two

I'm starting to be reminded of 2005 😣

I'll call on Paulette becoming a C3 hurricane

Yes. One of the two unnamed storms will be Sally(behind Rene) and the other storm will be Teddy. Won't be long until it shatters the record of active hurricane season set by the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season which it was the first year that they used the Greek Alphabet due to not having any X, Y and Z names.

Funny how there was a hurricane called Nana and now there is a tropical storm called Paulette when I called my grandmother Nana and her name was Paulette. She passed away in back in 2018.

She's coming back. Oh no. Y'all better watch out, my Nana was a tough cookie. 😂😂

Rain predicted for NW New Mexico for today and tomorrow. Whoopee. The only rain we will have so far this year. Whoopee! Hope to fill my 3, 000 gallon cistern that is empty.

People need to watch TS Paulette. Remember what Florence did in 2018.

I appreciate you and give you much respect. I am going to tell you that the world we live in today is not the same world we lived in thirty, twenty or even ten years ago. As a mater of fact take a look at the last two hundred, fifty years.

i think the African disturbance will form as it has lots of model support

But isn't Paulette heading directly toward the dry air? Wouldn't that mean that it will weaken or not get stronger?

Tropical storm Paulette every day the path that it could possibly take keeps shifting west word so that worries me because I live in East Coast South Carolina

The one off the African coast looks like it could become a tropical storm or hurricane. The tropics are ripe at this time for development.

They will both develop further. WHY? Because its 2020

I think both have a chance but most likely the one of Africa even tho the east coast one is 94l

Hurricane season 2020 numbers so far...
17 named storms
5 hurricanes
1 major hurricane
We’re only one hurricane away from an average hurricane season with hurricane #6 visible in the future. Only one major hurricane from an average hurricane season. That really shows that this season is hyperactive. I think we’ll see over 30 named storms this year. Like if you agree.

Paulette has a lot of water to track thru. I wouldn't be surprised if it became a hurricane. Just hoping stays out at sea.

You are not taking into a count the cold front that is expected to move into the northeast. That could severely weaken any storm that comes near the east coast. As well as even steer it out over the ocean.
