Actually, the Kamados wouldn't be killed. The Nichiken / Tamahagane Swords are made from metals that absorbed sunlight. Since they are immune to sunlight, there's no way to kill them with the swords. They'd have to use wisteria poison.

Don't forget, if you say he never experienced the disconnection between the Kamado siblings, Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, and Muzan Kibutsuji, Tamayo was also a demon that was under the manipulation of Muzan, gained control of herself, therefore betraying and destroying the connection/link to Muzan.
