The RTE arrogance is unbelievable. Just goes to show RTE top brass hold the rest of the country in contempt. I have to admit i taught at first the Oireachtas committee would be weak in there approach in dealing with RTE but i was wrong, they are going after them. Thank god Michael Healy Rae is not on the committee, Healy Rae with his praise of John Delaney during that farse. Healy Rae would praise RTE.

He's gotten to the top. He probably doesnt actually work much from day to day.
He commands the high salary because he will claim that he makes important decisions and takes responsibility when things go wrong.
Thing is with high earners in the capitalist system, they rarely do take said responsibility. Lots of delegation and coasting but little active work or responsibility.
