good scene starts at 8:37, as Pat Boone is welcomed into a family's modest home, and is introduced to various family members by the father. First, he meets the wife /mother of the household, and then the children. Apparently, they each have special prepared statements (or "sayings") for him.

The leader of the meeting was Gen. Burkhalter (don't remember his real name) of Hogan's Heroes.

I like Pat Boone's full album of hard rock cover songs (1997) "No More Mr. Nice Guy" He sings . Dio. Zeppelin. Priest .. AC/DC. Guns. Hendrix, 13 songs (lol) .. But he did it in an easy listening / lounge act format. Hilarious and surprisingly good.

It hasn't been 95 years, so this is still protected by copyright...but I doubt anyone cares.

Some comments saying this is supposed to be Hawaii?? HOW? When it's clearly bunch of Spanish speaking people? And looks nothing like Hawaii be talks like it's a foreign country when Hawaii was a state by 1959 😂🙄
Either way it sucks.

Well, this certainly wouldn't be "politically correct" today! Not only is the island a weird mish-mash of Mexican and Polynesian, but the actors (many of them well-known character actors from the '60s) are from multiple European nationalities, playing in "brown face". Leon Askin, who plays the sleazy mayor was Nazi Gen. Burkhalter on "Hogan's Heroes". And Vito Scotti, who plays Amando was all over the tube, including a few appearances on "Gilligan's Island", once as a Japanese soldier and a couple of times as a "Transylvanian" mad doctor.
