For the price, I'm disappointed that it doesn't include ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, or rear AC ducts. It's always nice to see a practical family sedan with a manual tranny!

As much as people like to cry “It’s not a real Integra!” and want this to fail, I see these frequently already for a new non-CUV model. Think I heard it being Acura’s best selling model at the moment. The Integra has always been a dressed up Civic. Kinda tempted to trade my Civic Sport Touring hatch for one. I’m all for any non-CUV wins right now.

in 2023, having a new vehicle without rear vents is just absurd.

My biggest issue that I have with Integra is that Acura forces you into the top spec to get the manual. Since you really are just getting a fancy SI why not offer the manual in the lower trim. BTW get rid of the CVT.

Next time Micah asks Evie if she's up to hearing his trim recommendation, she oughta say "Nope, not today", wait for his reaction and then says that she's just kidding

As a Canadian and a long time Acura owner, i have always enjoyed what the brand offers. In Canada we do not get the base trim and must buy the middle a spec trim or the top aspec with tech package. The middle spec is pushing 48, 000 cad. When i purchased my new ilx 2 years ago, i paid 34, 000. When my lease is up in a few years, i may be forced to look elsewhere. This sucks as i would enjoy this car every day.

It's so funny that you recommended the base model. I have the 2023 Integra base model explicitly because the value of the features and amenities included are an amazing deal for the price. I shopped and test drove the A3; I don't think it's worth the five grand more. The only other car I seriously considered was the new Sonata Hybrid. But that's also five grand more. I know the Integra is built around the Civic, but it doesn't feel like one. My family had a Civic relatively recently. It's a much different experience.

Miss your helicopter videos!

As a former 2011 Civic Si owner, that solid aluminum shift knob will punish your hand if it’s either colder than 70 degrees or warmer

The premium gas is just if you want to get every last bit of horse power. 87 works just fine and it's what the dealer recommended because the extra horsepower is negligible. I have the red with tulip (white) interior, A-spec + tech trim. It's a fantastic car so far.

I generally like the car, it is right-sized and practical for an active older person, although I wish the spoiler wasn't standard on the A-spec. But the lack of a spare tire even as an option is a deal-breaker; 90% of the punctures I've had would not be fixable by a patch kit, and in a rural area I'm not willing to wait hours for a tow.

I find it interesting that you both like the seats up front. My partner bought an A-Spec and has regretted it for 2 main reasons: 1) The front seats’ butt cushion is hard and the passenger seat lower cushion is flat with no adjustability which makes it impossible to enjoy trips in the car. 2) There is a considerable lack of sound deadening used to control road noise. When driving on older/rougher pavement this car is LOUD, especially if you are in the rear seats.

3:00 The chair touching the shoulder blades get really painful and red on long road trips. Ask me know I know..

I appreciate the Integra for its great qualities. It would have been nice to have an in between engine option and maybe the 8spd DCT.

I personally think this car looks amazing. I think it looks 15K-20K more than it actually costs. I get people asking me all the time how much I paid for my Integra A-Spec and I tell them low 30's and they are shocked and think I paid closer to 50K.

Funny you mention Bass Amps. This is the original reason for me driving wagons. Then it was dogs (still), and then my dads wheel chair, now my moms wheel chair.

Am I the only one who was waiting for Evie to channel Marisa Tomei in “My Cousin Vinnie” to explain the purpose of a limited slip differential (Positraction)?
