Who created God?

A common question for high-schoolers, but what's Christianity's answer?

why does everyone say "we know the universe had a beginning" how do we? literally no one was there, its more likely that time itself has just always been a thing and god and all other worlds have just always existed in an endless and timeless cycle of collapsing and recreating.
