I honestly feel like the collective brain power we've spent on recruiting in this game could have cured a minor disease

I throw out scholarships asap for 5 stars and 4 star gems because if you don't, you just won't catch up to the big schools with the last update. They go a lot harder now. At a certain point your recruiting hours are tied up for a few weeks until players start committing. I do delayed scholarships for 3 stars and 4 stars simply cause I got hours back.

Dude. You deserve the biggest channel. The most thoughtful CFB content on YouTube. It’s the anti brainrot

I've been controlling 32 teams at once. It's so fun. I force win and throttle recruitment battles to tell a story. It's like DnD college football

I can’t wait to come back a year from now to see your channel with 100k+ subscribers. You’re willing to put in the annoying, tedious work, but also making the results of that work feel important. Translating “boring” results to interesting videos is a rare skill, in my opinion!

Hope you’re having a great week, thank you for putting this together.

As someone learning and implementing data analysis at my job I Love your way of visualizing data to back up your point. Suggestion, learn how to highlight specific areas of the screen so you can highlight the section of the chart you are speaking about. Guide the viewers eyes through the visual. That would take things up a notch!

The coach level needs to be infinite, the fact that u max out at 50 and don’t gain anymore points to upgrade is abysmal

Per the Reddit forum, some think Insta commit is like a 5% probability with a bonus for CEO perk. Definitely a believer in the get out ahead early camp. I did have some trouble comprehending the graph, but I got the gist of it. Thank you!

Bro - you’re my new favorite YouTuber. Any plans to do data science studies on blitzing?

I've intuitively been behaving the right way, but I'm glad to see its proving out to be the right approach.

You should make a video breaking down how to do preplay adjustments and how to hot route to take advantage of defensive alignments

Love your videos. The real power of insta-commit is to start your season sorting by interest and offering everyone who is interested in your school and meets your star threshold. It can land you a few commits for only 5 hours plus an early jump in the class rankings, which helps you unlock certain coach skills.

Two things I wondered about while watching:

What is the base chance of an insta-commit without any of the coach skill upgrades, and how much does it improve with the upgrades?

Does the player's interest move at all from simply being on your board (as it did in NCAA 14) or is a scholarship offer required?

I'll definitely be using the marinate strategy. I tend to have a handful of guys on the board who I want, but don't have the hours for until several others commit.

Love these videos. I was wondering if you had any plans to check out the differences between influence gained on hard sells vs. soft sells and soft sell data based on the grades.

The way I do it and it's worked for me is
1) Select a few five star recruits(whether or not top 10)
2) Select within top ten starting from four stars down to three
3) Give all scholarships and scout to waste the remaining points
4) Give everyone 25 points if I have enough and if not just the ones Top 2 and below.
5) Let them sit if i dont have points and schedule visits
6) Sometimes the five stars I will hit them with 50 points if theg arent within the top ten.
7) I recruit in bulk as much as i can in the early stages then once my team is good and full I recruit small.
I lose out of alot o four star prospects but i still fill out the team first while i get my coaching up.

I did a test dynasty to get a feel for the coach abilities. I saved up for CEO and bought the insta commit ability. I’ve gotten 1 or 2 each season out of 10 or so guys I start in first for. I don’t think it’s worth it to try to go for insta commits tbh, just take em when you happen to get them but I don’t think it’s fruitful to recruit around that happening.

I have gotten 7, 4 or 5 star insta-commits, because by the time I had enough points to get the insta-commit talent, I was pretty much only recruiting 4 and 5 stars (other than the occasional kicker). But while I did get 7 one season, the next season I think I got 2, so it's VERY hit or miss in my experience. And while the insta-commits are nice, they aren't really THAT game changing imo. I mean it is nice to have the base of a class nailed down super early so you can really focus on finding a smaller number of specific players. But honestly by the time I got the talent I was pulling in the top class every year even without it. That's kind of theme to most of the talents imo. By the time you get them, you don't really need them.
