Able bodied people stop being ableist challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)

This really disappointed me. As someone with tourettes it's so hard for me to go into social situations such as a full plane because of people like them 😕

Aren't seats on a plane assigned ?

Okay, USUALLY, this stuff doesn't phase me. But I have an unidentified/suspected seizure disorder which causes my head to jerk (left, right, back, diagonal) & it makes my eyes roll up. It's only for a few seconds, but it happens a lot in casual conversation. My friends & partner are the most accustomed to it, with my family a bit behind the former.

I've seen a lot of ableist stuff, but it was so comical that it never bothered me. I roll my eyes at varying tropes in media, but I've never actually had something grind my gears like this. ACTING CRAZY? I literally have no control over the movement whatsoever. I ask people when they speak to me for a prolonged amount of time to neglect/ignore the movements unless I make a comment about it. I work through the shame of this thing I don't fully understand nor know the source of.

I both can & cannot believe it. Also, definitely thought this was Ezra Miller ☠️

Why can’t they just pretend to be asleep or avoid eye contact like the rest of us?

Tourettes, autism, some seizure disorders, neurological and muscular issues, etc. Can all cause jerky movements. This can also look similar to schizophrenia, substance use disorders, etc. Which just makes layers of awfulness against disabled people

This is literally me in class. ( I have nervous tics and it makes me act like a malfunctioning robot)
