That 2017 game was the beginning of the ABs decline. Although the Boks didn’t win those, ABs should consider themselves lucky to win against a Bok team with serious kinks in the armour (ie jantjes and cronje) and resulting soft tries. The ABS got pushed to the edge and were found wanting (and gasping). Probably one the best games in a very very long time, if but only for shear drama....
