How can we have nuclear submarines but forbid any discussions of nuclear power plants?

We need a much stronger defence force to discourage any idea that aggression against us will pay. We need nuclear weapons because we are too small to defend ourselves with a small number of conventional weapons and wishful thinking.

Unless Australia is getting them next week I feel it's too late and pointless.

What Australia needs is a nuclear arsenal. Not a overpriced nuclear steam engine.

The nuke subs should have been ordered when we started exporting large quantities of iron ore to the CCP, and at mate's rates.

Excuse me Sky News, ✋question... as a media corporation who reports facts and actual real news and allows reporters and journalists to broadcast their opinions and frustrations ect on any given matter...why dont yous create a way to bring in members of the Australian public to do the same? For example; group discussions/ debates/ q&a's and/or what ever other ideas come out of brain storming... If the people had a way of getting their voices out there thru the media, the government cant really ignore it. ...ive worked for a government department before and at the induction they told us 'as soon as a customer threatens with the ombudsman or the media, escalate it because we will do what ever we need to do so the media doesnt get involved'.

...growing up in the T.V days of Tony Barber and Fast Forward, I remember one of the news channels (i was a lil kid back then so i cant remember which one...and im pretty sure it was a one nite a week slot not a segment on the standard nightly news) used to group discussions ect with every day aussies and relevant individuals to the topic such as politicians.

Someones gotta give the people a helping hand because our government needs to learn their place. They represent the people. But they dont ask us what we want to do. As an example, should we sent military aid to Ukraine? I think our opinion on that matters alot!!! We should decide!! Not them. And since they just went ahead and did it anyway. Thats an decision i feel we the people deserve the truth and an explanation for. The lines of communication between government and citizens are pretty much closed or they get shut down fast if its not what they want to hear. Therefore they arent representing the country....they just in it for them selves.

Since when, SKY News, does the word "near" have the letter "a" at the end? You really should employ announcers that can speak English...
