Liberty just gets into your head and won't leave! Since I discovered how darn gorgeous it is I have used it in very many ways. This quilt is the second biggest thing I have ever made at 7'6" square. It took me weeks to make. I watched the whole boxed set of The Gilmore Girls while I made it I seem to remember!
I know it is expensive, this is top of the range fabric and silk combined! And hand quilted too! Are you the one person in the whole world who would like to sleep under this every night?
EDIT - someone has decided it will be them who gets to sleep under this quilt every night! the quilt is sold and will be starting its new journey soon!

I've noticed that there is thumbs down on almost all of the videos, , funny thing that . I don't understand why anyone would do that .
I think all of Kate's videos have been done light and friendly and informative with no put on .So why have an issue with her honesty and kind soul, I give thumbs down to all you down thumbers, LOL

I have a neuromuscular disability and cannot quilt. Though my hands are quite strong enough, my shoulders and arms are too limited in their range of motion. But I remember! My muscles remember, like riding a bike.  I watch you and my muscles remember the motions and my skin remembers the touch of that particular weight of cotton.
So I go through the stitching with you and the layout process and all the lovely Liberty swatches and the doubled silk wadding. Oh my, Kate! You give me life. Thank you.  
p.s. My husband, retired from construction industry, also watches your quilting and says "No wonder the best layout workers were women!" Building a quilt is no different in skills than putting an architect's drawing into wood and stone.
