Modulation & Routing capabilities of Reason

Since the Reason Rack is modelled after analog gear, it also has some of the powerful advantages of a physical rack. In this video INFEKT is going over some tips and tricks for Audio and CV signal routing, as well as use cases such as parallel processing, and inter-device-modulation.

This is one of the main reasons I've stuck with Reason for nearly 20 years. It's just so much fun to use!

Reason is one of the best uses of skeuomorphism ever. It's practical rather than just a gimmick. It's always been one of the key reasons I love it.

I’ve been using reason since version 2 and it’s nice to have a video with all this explained in one video. They did a great job explaining and demonstrating! Please provide more videos like this. Cheers

Thanks for the refresher! I’m so grateful to keep my skills fresh by surrounding myself with this community.

This video is one of the best about cabling. Simple with examples. Need more content like this. Thanks!

Thanx a lot for the „shift“. I didn’t know that it is that easy changing the chain of the inserts! This will save me so much time😊👍

I owe all my artistic forms of expression to Reasons rack environment. Sure other daws have started using their own but Reasons has been around for far longer and has allowed me to build some of the wildest, most expressive instruments I can imagine. I don't have a single project where I don't use Europa's envelopes as mod sync sources.

Dear Reason Studios developers, please add the ability to route multiple cables out from the outputs. Would greatly improve the routing as we would need less splitters. ;)

Another cool way to visually see your CV in action while staying within the Reason box, is to route your CV modulation signals to a combinator input, and use the combinator programmer to assign modulation with those signals. The rotaries/knobs/sliders that the CV is modulating will graphically move when being manipulated by CV in this way!

Absolutely my man - Need the 5hours tube version

You don't need the splitter for parallell processing. Just connect Scream as a send effect to the small mixer you added and you're good to go.

Hello. I was looking for a way to put the BVX effect pan to the right of my track. You've given me the answer. It was easier than I thought. Thanks

Awesome info... We don't see many tutorials on the wiring of the rack... Its easy to get lost and confused but with your demo, NICE !!! will be having a tinker around with this..

Okay Okay I get it now. I followed along with you and created a drum loop, then build everything you used...
