Buying a variety of things makes your videos more interesting as well, I enjoy seeing you investigate and negotiate for stuff I know nothing about. Great shot of the Long-haired dachshund. Thanks for sharing.

I use the hat washing thingies, all the time! If there’s a chance that the colors will bleed, I use it in a front loading washing machine, on gentle cycle, so I have access to cold water. Just has to be a front loading washing machine. If I use the washing machine, I can also use a detergent that has no fragrance, because I’ve had a return once, due to fragrance from the detergent.

I used to make good $$$ from goodwill here in Wyo. But they got a smart manager who was obliviously checking out ebay listings. I don't think the sold listing tho. Back to Garage sales.

Not mufflers, they are Tuned pipes. Check the zinger props for cracks.

I love how your wife trusts your decision to buy some of the things. She obviously has confidence in your decisions.

Just skin the hat frame in tin-foil. You will be good to go, just don't wear it in a thunderstorm. 😂

Cool stuff, especially the glow engines.
Just asking, was it mentioned somewhere what kind of profitability these engines gave you? As one commenter noted, fewer folks are using glow fuel today. And, many enthusiasts who cut their teeth on glow fuel are aging out of the hobby.
I've seen quite a few glow engines offered up for reasonable prices, but wondered if anyone is paying the "top dollar" for O.S. "LA" type of engines? I've seen so many "old things" that were worth more in parts. Sad really.
When I saw the thumbnail for the vid, my interest definitely perked up!
Not dissing ya. I dig bringing back old engines and fly stuff that others may have tossed otherwise. I think you bought all the R/C stuff for the right price. Would just like to know how the engines and stuff treated you since buying them to make a profit seemed to be your reasoning.

I am a RCcplane guy for almost 60 years. Those engines you got looks like one was crashed. Could be damaged. Got to tell people when you sell it. Also those mufflers were very expensive when I was buying those. IS good brand. Props well you know 20.00... the blue bc idea an each meter fir engine adjustment. The gray prop expensive. Anyway they are all glow fuel very expensive we all got away from that. Gas engines is where it at now. Make sure none of those engines are gas they are worth more. Just wanted to let you know. I've done this hobby all my life. I went to the 40% to 50% planes with DA 150 engines. Big engines. Anyway good find. T he see guys that buy fur themselves will want you to give it away they are rough.

If it was plastique (ie. C-4, you can light it and all it will do is burn. DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT SUBJECT IT TO ELECTRIC CURRENT!!! It will go boom if you do. C-4 is great for heating c-rats if you don't have any heat-tabs though. Luck to you and be SAFE.

I once bought a cap cleaner. It ruined the bill of the cap. It would not curve anymore

Dont use regular gas in these engines. We used nitro methane in ours. It is what was sold from the hobby shops in the 60's for them.
