My berthing was right above the chain locker and right below the flight deck...so either I had a massive chain rattling below me or a harrier jet landing on top of me. Nope, can't say I miss those days.

USS Wasp LHD-1, my very first command when i joined the navy 20 years ago, such a great ship, if i could be stationed on it just one last time id do one more oohrah for the command :)
