#47 Making hand made candy canes and a little history about Candy Canes

Hey folks, I rushed on this one, Did not get all the history in I wanted to. Sorry about that. I'll get it in for a video next year.
We make peppermint candy canes just in time for Christmas 2016. Public Displays of Confections in Tallahassee, Florida produces hand made hard candy using Victorian techniques. Every Christmas we hand make about 10,000 candy canes for the season.

The guy spinning the candy on the hook to make it white must have some muscles on him that looked like a bit of a workout.

I don't know why this guy doesn't get more subscribers or more credit. He puts time and effort into making his candy and filming it, plus he looks into the history of candy as well.
He must spend so much time into this, and he sounds so nice. He definitely needs more recognition.

lofty pursuits should take 360 picture of the shop and post it on google map so that people that can't be at the shop can see what the shop mostly looks like
