Honestly, things just don’t cost that much in Mexico, so I’d do that in a heartbeat. My Oceanfront room in Hawaii in September that me and my boyfriend are going for at the Halekulani goes for $1, 200 a night, and it doesn’t have a private pool😂

I'm about as middle class as it gets and the fact you're paying close to 1000 a night for something you could do yourself seems steep as fuck. That and, while yes, it looks like a great property and such, location and shit matters too, even for what's pretty much just an overpriced luxury airbnb.
