Bourrees are my favorite! They sure aren't comfortable but they are lots of fun

What do they call it when she does it to the front? I love that step, especially when they wear tutus and they bourree to the front and their tutus shake....LOVE!

I still don't get how straightened my legs should be when doing this.

So 'flowy' :-) Bourrees aren't painful for me, but when I'm doing a lot/going across the floor, etc., I tend to space out a little, so keeping focused and core engaged keeps the movement looking alive. It feels odd sometimes too, like I'm barely moving haha

Is it called a bouree or a couru?

I love watching these but they are so painful to do in class!

Sometimes also called "pas couru" by some ballet teachers, masters, and choreographers.

If they involve rotation or turning, this would be "pas couru en tournant".

They make it look super easy, but I know it hurts like hell!

Dee-Dee(occasionally with her Black and Asian cousins Lee-Lee and Mee-Mee) in Dexter's Laboratory is the Goddess of this ballet dance move who did that as a running gag.

I don't mind bourrees, it doesn't hurt that much for me, I just can't move quickly and keep my fifth crossed.

It is not painful at all! One does not stand on bare toes. Instead, one wears special foam pads. In the end it is nothing but pressure on the toes.

what is the piece of music accompanying her?
