I grew up listening to Marty, so it rocked my world when he went on tour and came to Maple City Chapel in Goshen, IN, and my family went to go see him. We had talked with him before the concert, and then during the concert, he called little five-year-old me to the stage and we sang a song together. I'll remember that moment forever! When I was a child in the 90s u heard your song oh lord our lord playing on a Christian station called "family radio" it was dark downstairs in my grandma's kitchen and I was hungry for a snack. It was pitch black and the only thing on was the radio and that song completely killed my fear because God was with me the whole time. For years I such for that song and your name which I never knew. And glory be to God. I found this at the perfect time in my life. And I've had the pleasure of discovering more of your music and your daughter's music. Marty, we met you 20 years or so ago at Harvest Christian Fellowship when I was battling colon cancer. W we enjoyed your music so many times there and it was so encouraging during my recovery. We've listened to you through the years on CD. You always touched our hearts. We moved from California to Montana, and then to South Carolina and we are so pleased to "see you" again, and your daughter and her son are so beautiful. Best part of listening to you today is that we have very dear elderly Jewish friends here, and my wife and I have been slowly exposing them to Jesus. Tonight, right after listening to your testimony, I sent it to them. I pray that the Spirit opens their hearts to Jesus soon. Thank you, and I hope you still perform in your stocking feet.
