Pretty sure those were daff bulbs showing through. Tulips come through later. Really enjoy watching you and your adventures in gardening

I add compost & manure mix then cover with cardboard to stop the rain washing all the nutrients out & weed suppression

My garden is covered in snow so I'm watching your videos from the warmth of my couch, I did a big purchase too I spent 200$ on shelving units with light fixtures for starting my own seedlings indoors, the box of course didn't fit in my car and the shelf just barely fits in the space I have to start my seeds 😂🎉

We mulch our allotment then cover it keeps the weeds down and nutrients in and helps keep the soil warm some people disagree but we have been gardening for many many years and it works for us

I wouldn't worry about the brassica bed. It's been an awful growing year so I'd try brassicas in there again next year. You didn't do anything wrong.

I just added some violets all around my allotment to add some color during the winter period. I highly recommend doing this! Always happy to see some color in the garden.

My heart beat differently when seeing emma move any plants. 😅

I was the same, stressed about seedlings, bulbs etc kept checking and did more damage. So just trust in nature and leave well alone and wait and see what the spring fetches ❤❤

You can practise putting up my greenhouse, still in there boxes in my shed, only joking, my brother in law will help me after he returns from Australia in February.
