In July 17, 2004, Atif Aslam's album Jalpari was released in Pakistan. I am a Bangladeshi with a deep love for Pakistani classical music and pop, I eagerly sought out albums by iconic artists like Mehdi Hasan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and bands such as Mekaal Hasan Band and Aaroh. When one of my Pakistani colleague visited Pakistan, I requested him to bring some CDs of these artists. Along with the requested CDs, he surprised me with Atif Aslam's Jalpari album. This song was number seven song of that album. From that moment on, I became an avid listener of Atif Aslam, captivated by his music.
