The Durupınar site has long fascinated researchers, and this is because it's said to be the final resting place of Noah's Ark. Believers who have seen the photographs have said that this is the proof they needed, and that these photographs prove that a boat shaped object now sits on this mountain. Various other images have been taken of the area, helping to fuel theories that more work needed to be done in order to find out what this thing is. A group of researchers claim they found proof that this was in fact once a giant boat.

Noah's Ark, is NOT atop Mount Ararat. It is in the "hills of Ararat." It is in a region known as Ararat.
Mount Ararat is a volcano. At the time of the Great Flood event, the Mountain did not exist. The volcanic cone, which makes up Mount Ararat, has grown to its present height, after the flood took place, over the millennia since.
Ron Wyatt, had begun the research on this site, and Turkey has turned the site into a national historic site and park.
Research is continuing in this site, which is approximately 17 miles West, of Mount Ararat, (The volcanic mountain).

The Bible says the mountains (plural) of Ararat not specifically mount Ararat. I am a believer, but I am always skeptical about things that are a stretch. But all over the Earth, ancient cultures who should have no knowledge of each other or their cultures and beliefs all have cataclysmic flood oral traditions.

Is this Noah's ark or one from one of the many flood stories of antiquity? Every pre-christian religion has a flood story even the ancient Egyptians, you could argue all chapters from the same book, I'm not atheist by the way but ancient history is fascinating, it's not like you're gonna find Noah's keys in there with a fish keyring!🤓

If the ark indeed came to rest atop a mountain it only seems logical that the survivors would either live out of the ship or else repurpose the wood and build other needed structures.

Who's to say it isn't one of the other Arcs that predate the story of Noah's Arc. In the Epic of Gilgamesh he was looking for the secret of Immortality after the death of his friend enkidu and met a man who survived a great cataclysmic flood by building a boat that carried every animal on Earth.
