This is a very clever mix of CMY/lithophane integration on a 3d printer. Love it!

Interesting thing i learned when i started at a print shop. The K in CMYK actually stands for "key". Back in the day when we printed using a press, each color had its own plate. The "key" plate was the plate that contained the smaller details of the print, usually the the black part of the print containing outlines, shadows, etc. I'd say your use of the white here to form the shadows and details definitely qualifies it as a key color.
Thanks for the interesting videos!

This is dope and my dad would've loved it. he printed some pretty awesome greyscale lithos before he passed in '20. Thanks for the smile 👍

Gorgeous lithopane - and it only took 2kg of plastic between purge/wipes and actual printing!

Wow! So cool! How much print time for the lytophanes and for the frame? Cheers from Spain 🇪🇸 ❤

Ohh Mihai, please we need your support settings! Last time I used standard supports instead of tree supports with PETG it completely melted together with the other layers and I couldn't get them off😢

For awhile now I’ve been thinking that the way you talk and your voice especially sound so much like Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb animation.

Good morning. Would it be possible to put the link of the LEDs?

Wow, that’s gorgeous! Is the printer actually mixing the colors together to get non-primary hues, or is it just a matter of printing very thin layers? Does it “dither” by putting down little dots in some places?

If you wanted to sell a lot of those that looks like an actual reason to look at the stripped down version of the printer

Where did you get the light board and frame design from? 😍👀

I have the cmyk kit minus the led backlight (it was gone from
The store almost instantly). Does yours say who makes it? I really wanna buy a few of them to have. Thanks! Also have you tried hueforge?

I look forward to your videos every day. Whats your impressions on the P1P ?

I have no interest in artsy 3D printer stuff but that is a good use for the P1P and AMS color change system.

I actually did it with the 0.4 nozzle and it worked perfectly, still ordered a 0.2 just in case haha 😅

Just redeemed my backlight from Bambu 😊 can't wait for it to arrive so I can try this out. Do you have a comparison of printing with the 0.4 compared to the 0.2 nozzle?

Now that's cool. But I've always printed my lithophanes standing up on the edge interesting how this came out going to try with my ercf
