I've done a great deal of study and thought on the subject of time and the subject of a spiritual plane of existence, which led me to exactly the answer you gave here for this type of question. I have realized that there are many that cannot fathom the concept of eternity in full, where there is no time...or that there is another plane of existence without the laws of physics and such that we know...and I'm completely at a loss on how to explain it to them. Even popular pastors like David Jeremiah don't seem to be able to look at things from the perspective that heaven is completely outside all our perspectives and that when a new heaven/earth are created, all our old laws and principles may just be tossed out the window.
To me, these concepts are some of the greatest proof of God's omnipotence and glory...and Jesus's, to have gone in and out of our universe as He did...and just...wow, so hard to understand but so amazing to think about!

The kindom of heaven is in you. God is spirit and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth. I the LORD do not change. He is always at the door. God doesnt begin because time is relevant to men. Only men begin and end. There is no measurement where none is needed. The spirit realm is in you it is not 3rd ir 4th but something else. Something in you. You triune and you are made in Gods image. Dont compare Triune brain, atomized, evolutionary theory with the trinity Spirit Soul, Body. This is rough but if you pray for a spirit of wisdom and revelation youll get what you need from my chicken scratch.

The answer is simple, but you wo't find it in Genesis! Heaven is not an address we shall visit, with a gate, and St Peter as doorkeeper. Heaven is where God is _right_now_, and "God is everywhere, " right beside you. What other useless, hypothetical questions do you want answered? What other excuse do you need, rather than getting on with your lives?

I tend to disagree with Pastor John, I think heaven is not outside of the universe. In 1Conrienthians 6:19-20 we are told that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit which is GOD and in the Luke 17:20-21 we are told the Kingdom of God is in the midst of Us. I assume that God dwells where his kingdom is, which is within a Human being. In a heart perhaps???? Heaven cannot be taken literally!

I've been wondering this myself for many years, the Life I Lived was not exactly what one would call Holy. But I guess my question would be to anyone who is standing at those Gates and Saint Peter asks you what do you want here in heaven, what would you say? And even so what would you do once you were given the permission to pass? I know what I would do I know what I would ask. That's the one thing many people ever ask themselves once I'm in heaven what will I do there? That's the real question.
