Murder or Cover Up? The Trial of Karen Read. The Emily Show Ep. 268

Показать описание
Karen Read is accused of murder in the second degree, driving under the influence, and fleeing the scene of a hit and run of her police officer boyfriend, John O'Keefe. The prosecution and defense paint different pictures of what happened the night of the blizzard. The prosecution claims that Karen and John had problems in their relationship and that she ran him over with her car while drunk and took off. They state that they found his blood in the broken tail light of Karen's car. The defense states that Karen dropped off her boyfriend at a party with his police officer friends and that it is more likely that he was beaten up in the home and then left outside in the blizzard to die. She also claims she is being set up by the cops. A Federal investigation is also currently happening but is not finished. So far, the feds say that they do not believe John O'Keefe was hit by a car. The jury selection began Tuesday, April 16, 2024 and I will be covering it gavel to gavel!
