I wept uncontrollably, the sweetness of his voice summoned all the sadness in me and when he was done I was empty but at peace.

A beautiful and moving prayer that was translated by one of our commentators. We as Christians, Muslims and owe so much to Judaism. We have so much in common more than our differences.
May we all seek Him and each other in Peace, Love and Joy.
May we all live one day in His eternal Kingdom of Light, Love, Joy and Peace.

One doesn't get to hear the Cantorial art practiced on this high level very often these days. Yishar Koach to Chazzan Schwartz!

It moved me almost to tears. Seeing all religions coming together moves me so much. Seeing even the Cardinal singing along at 5:04 shows how we can all learn from each other. Amen and shalom!

Thank you. The entire ceremony at ground zero was moving, peaceful filled with the possibility of peace.

"O G-d, full of compassion, Who dwells on high, grant true rest upon the wings of the Shechinah (Divine Presence), in the exalted spheres of the holy and pure, who shine as the resplendence of the firmament, to the souls of September 11
who has gone to his [supernal] world, for charity has been donated in remembrance of his soul; may his place of rest be in Gan Eden. Therefore, may the All-Merciful One shelter him with the cover of His wings forever, and bind his soul in the bond of life. The Lord is his heritage; may he rest in his resting-place in peace; and let us say: Amen.
