For those of you who don’t know, I think the face used in this SCP is a coronal slice of someone’s face in an MRI scan. Very creepy and effective!

This one is especially creepy because it's something that the dreamer doesn't even know of or can control. They're not doing it out of malice, they don't even know it at all. They just go to bed one night and they have the potential to end the world without even knowing it.

I love how the whole log shifts to desperate pleading as soon as "a world where there is no such thing as the Foundation" is uttered. It definitely sets a unique tone to this SCP.

I’ve had some very, unusual and disturbing dreams. Just last night I dreamed of a new tiny alien species that was peaceful but would graft itself to humans skin, removal was as simple as wiping them off but it still freaked me out. There are dreams I wish were reality, and ones I wake up in fear, and thank god aren’t reality. What scares me so much about this scp is that, it’s almost completely random, you could wake up and without even knowing how, the world I gone, and it’s all because of you.

This makes the Foundation feel very capable. They're not idly standing by waiting for some reality bender god to destroy the world. But their reach of influence is not unlimited. It recognizes that the foundation is covering the world as best it can in order to seek out anomalies and cover up their existences, and they will do it no matter the cost. The Foundation does not *Want* to abduct and kill civilians, but they will if they must. They don't *Want* to kill D-Class, but they will if they must. This is a keter not because it's a monster destroying the world, but because if someone finds out about it, the existence of anomalies will spill onto the world. The SCP foundation isn't scared of killing/abducting civilians, they're scared of what would happen if they don't. Just imagine if the Chaos Insurgency or the Sarkic Cult found a 1237-1-L. This SCP is good because the creepy feeling isnt in "what would happen" but "what could happen"

There's enough uncertainty to cast concern and anxiety, but action is being taken to prevent disaster and devastation worldwide. And then only way to do that is for the foundation to lie, intrude, manipulate, and kill.

I loved this one, I read the containment procedures and was like "Holy shit, what?" Then the description and I was like "Oh okay, I see how that would be a problem."
