Nicholas Armstrong, JD ’23, was working in urban development in Texas when a law scholarship brought him to WashU. Now, he plans to stay in St. Louis and use his legal training to strengthen our local communities. Inspired by his grandparents, driven by the desire to make positive change, and supported by WashU, his future is wide open.

Make Way: Our Student Initiative is building resources for undergraduate scholarships, graduate scholarships and fellowships, and the student experience, allowing WashU to remove financial barriers for the most qualified students and offer all students, including Nicholas, the freedom to pursue their passions and make a difference in their communities.
